Arun Jaitley opts out of new NDA government over health issues
New Delhi, May 29 (IBNS): Former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has opted out of the new National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government for the present time over health issues.
In a letter, Jaitley urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to give him any responsibility of the new Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA government for now.
"I am writing to you to formally request you that I should be allowed a reasonable time for myself, my treatment and my health and, therefore, not be a part of any responsibility, for the present, in the new Government" Jaitley wrote.
I have today written a letter to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, a copy of which I am releasing: pic.twitter.com/8GyVNDcpU7
