Md. Abdul Hamid meets Narendra Modi, discuss issues related to mutual interest

New Delhi , May 31 (IBNS): Bangladesh President  Md. Abdul Hamid met Indian PM Narendra Modi here on Friday and discussed issues of mutual interest, officials said.

MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted: "PM @narendramodi and President of #Bangladesh Md. Abdul Hamid exchanged views on matters of mutual interest."

Hamid visited India and attended the oath-taking ceremony of Narendra Modi.

Modi took oath as the PM for the second straight term on Thursday.

Several foreign leaders, including Hamid, attended the event.
