Supreme Court to hear petition of journalist Prashant's wife on Tuesday

New Delhi, Jun 10 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Tuesday will hear the petition filed by Jigisha Arora, wife of journalist Prashant Kanaujia arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Police for allegedly putting objectionable post against the state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

A vacation bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Indira Banerjee on Monday said, "we will hear the petition filed by Jigisha Arora, tomorrow. "

Jigisha has moved the Supreme Court challenging her husband Prashant Kanoujia's arrest.

She, in her petition, claimed that her husband was arrested illegally and the due procedure of law and rules and regulations were not been followed by the Uttar Pradesh State Police.
