Wreckage of IAF’s missing AN-32 aircraft found in Arunachal Pradesh
New Delhi, June 11 (IBNS): Nearly eight days since it went missing, the wreckage of Indian Air Force’s AN-32 aircraft with 13 on board was found in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, officials said.
The IAF confirmed the matter and tweeted: "The wreckage of the missing #An32 was spotted today 16 Kms North of Lipo, North East of Tato at an approximate elevation of 12000 ft by the #IAF Mi-17 Helicopter undertaking search in the expanded search zone."

"Efforts are now continuing to establish the status of occupants & establish survivors. Further details will be communicated as the recovery actions progress," it said.

The flight, AN-32 transport aircraft, went missing in Arunachal Pradesh after taking off from Jorhat airbase in Assam.
