New Delhi, Jun 12 (UNI): Considering the alertness for the "Vayu" cyclone over Gujarat, Western Railway has decided to fully cancel operation of 15 mainline trains, while 16 other mainline trains will be short terminated with partial cancellation as a precautionary measure.
In addition to this, various safety and security precautions are also being taken by Western Railway for train passengers of these vulnerable areas such as Veraval, Okha, Porbandar, Bhavnagar, Bhuj and Gandhidham, an official statement here said.
The trains which have been cancelled include 52933 Veraval - Amreli of 12.06.19 and 13.06.19, 52949 Veraval - Delvada of 12.06.19 and 13.06.19, 52930 Amreli - Veraval of 12.06.19 and 13.06.19, 52951 Delvada - Junagadh of 12.06.19 and 13.06.19, 52956 Junagadh - Delvada of 12.06.19 and 13.06.19 among others.
The list of trains to be short–terminated with partial cancellation include 15636 Guwahati - Okha journey commenced on 10/06/2019 will be short terminated at Rajkot and will be partially cancelled between Rajkot– Okha, 59207 Bhavnagar terminus – Okha journey commencing on June 12 will will be short terminated at Rajkot and will be partially cancelled between Rajkot-Okha.
