Govt convenes all party meeting on Sunday, June 16

New Delhi, Jun 14 (UNI): The government has convened an all party meeting on Sunday, June 16.

According to an official source the meeting convened by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi has been called to discuss issues on the eve of the Budget Session of Parliament and will be held around 1100 hours.

It is expected to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leaders of various parties in both the Houses of Parliament.

The first session of Parliament after the just concluded Lok Sabha polls will be held between June 17 and July 26.

Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present Budget on July 5.

The Speaker of the new Lok Sabha will be appointed on June 19 while the first two days of the session will be devoted to swearing-in of the newly elected MPs.

President Ram Nath Kovind will address the Joint Session of Parliament on June 20.
