Uttar Pradesh doctors show solidarity with colleagues on strike in Kolkata
Lucknow, Jun 14 (UNI): On the call given by the Indian Medical Association(IMA) over the attack on the medicos in Kolkata, doctors in the government hospitals in Uttar Pradesh on Friday observed a protest wearing black badges and stopped work for two hours.
In Lucknow, the doctors at the KGMU and other government hospitals joined the protest by wearing black badges and stopping work.
Later, they took out a march from the IMA building in the state capital to Shaheed Smarak to show their solidarity with the Kolkata doctors.
Protests were reported at the government hospitals in different parts of the state.
