UP govt to construct public toilets in industrial areas
Lucknow, Jun 17 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Dr Anup Chandra Pandey has ordered the construction of public toilets on large scale in the industrial development authority areas, industrial spaces and mini industrial spaces in a view to provide better facilities to the people visiting these places.
Chief Secretary has issued these directives while presiding over a meeting of Uttar Pradesh Infrastructural Development Fund Management Committee here on Monday.
He also directed for the proper maintenance of those toilets constructed by Greater Noida Development Authority in the industrial areas.
He has given his consent over 15 proposals of industrial spaces and mini industrial spaces for district Siddhartha Nagar, Lakhimpur Khiri, Kanpur Nagar, Auraiya, Bareilly, Mainpuri, Deoria, Bulandshahar, Banda, Raebareli, Mau, Jaunpur and Rampur districts on a condition that no work of inter-locking will be done beside the road tracks.
Pandey has also directed the Chief Executive Officer of Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) for proper water supply and up-gradation water/sewage management system and also for laying underground power cables.
While giving his consent over development works in the industrial area of Patharahiya, Ram Nagar, Chunaar, Sikri and Rajgarh of Mirzapur District, he has instructed the concerned district magistrate to ensure to provide independent power feeders along with maintenance and extension of roads, constructing drains, building boundary walls here in these areas.
Similarly, maintenance of road and works for supplying LED street light has also been approved by him.
