Eight children rescued from human traffickers in Jharkhand's Palamu
Daltonganj, Jun 18 (UNI) In a major success against anti-human trafficking drive the Garhwa Road Rail Police have rescued eight children and has arrested a trafficker.
Officials of the railway office today said that during a routine patrol on the platform at Garhwa road these children were rescued from the trafficker who was later identified as Balmiki Thakur.
These children were being taken to Maharashtra to work in a bakery firm.
The children were later handed over to the CWC while the trafficker was presented before the court of railway judicial magistrate which forwarded him to jail.
