FIR in Chhattisgarh against Subramanian Swamy for remarks against Rahul
Raipur, Jul 7 (UNI) Taking exception to BJP MP Subramanian Swamy's remarks against outgoing Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Chhattisgarh Congress leaders and office bearers have lodged complaints against Swamy in several police stations across the state.
Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Chief Spokesman Sushil Shukla confirmed this to UNI.
He said that District and Block Congress presidents, Youth Congress and frontal organisations of Congress across the state started lodging complaints against BJP MP Subramanian Swamy in Police Stations across the state in protest against his 'obnoxious' remarks against Rahul.
PCC Chief Mohan Markam first visited police station on Saturday to lodge complaint against Swamy, as soon as he came to know about his remarks against Rahul.
Subsequently, all other Congressmen lodged complaints against Swamy.
Shukla said "complaints against Swamy would be lodged in all the police stations."
He alleged that Swamy had been making objectionable remarks against Gandhi family for a long time with the motive of being in good books of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but he did not succeed in his attempt.
