Kolkata: Patient body found hanging in washroom of Bangur Institute of Science

Kolkata, Jul 13 (UNI) A patient, identified as Amarish Dey (58) was today found handing into a wash room of the annex building of government owned Bangur Institute of Science in south Kolkata, police investigating the crime said it was case of suspected suicide.

The resident of Bhadreswar in the Hooghly, who was to be released later today, was found hanging by the window attached to a gamocha (towel) in the wash room.
In another crime a youth, identified as Kuddush Sardar was found dead with multiple wounds in the house of a tantric, who has been evading arrest at Baruipur in South 24 Parganas since Friday evening.


Eye witnesses in the locality said a middle age woman, who was seen had entered into tantric house, was also missing then.


Police investigating the ghastly crime said Kuddush Sardar, a youth from Ghutiari Shariff, was probably sacrificed by tantric, who is known as Satya Haldar. The crime happened at Ramkrishna Pally under Bethbaria in Baruipur.


The eye witnesses said the victim along with a woman had entered into the house of tantric in the afternoon and since then they did not see the duo.


The mutilated body of Kuddus Sardar was found when the son of tantric arrived home in the evening and found both Satya Haldar and the woman have not been traced.
