After Uber Eats supports Zomato over 'non-Hindu rider' row, #BoycottUberEats trends on Twitter
New Delhi, Aug 1 (IBNS): #BoycottUberEats has started trending on micro-blogging site Twitter after food ordering and delivery platform Uber Eats supported Zomato's reply to the man who had cancelled an order for the rider's religion.
Several Twitterati have slammed Uber Eats for its "hypocrisy". Some Twitter users have accused Uber, which also runs a cab service, of using posters related to Hindu religion on their cars.
Few users, who have accused both Zomato and Uber Eats of maintaining a double standard, uninstalled the two apps from their mobile.
Take a look at some Twitter reactions
A Twitter user with name Chowkidar Tushar Pandey said, "Amit's Denial to accept Zomato delivery by Abdul is a burning topic for Liberals, Refusal to board UBER cab due to Angry Hanuman Sticker is a freedom of choice."

Food has no religion
A person named Amit Shukla took to Twitter on Tuesday to say that he had cancelled an order which was placed with Zomato for allocating a "non-Hindu rider". Not bothering the refund, Amit just wanted the order to be cancelled.
"Just cancelled an order on @ZomatoIN they allocated a non hindu rider for my food they said they can't change rider and can't refund on cancellation I said you can't force me to take a delivery I don't want don't refund just cancel" Amit, whose Twitter bio reads a "nationalist proud Hindu", wrote on Twitter.
