10 Sikkim Democratic Front MLAs join BJP
New Delhi, Aug 13 (IBNS): 10 MLAs of Sikkim Democratic Front on Tuesday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.
They joined the party in the presence of BJP leader Ram Madhav.
BJP tweeted: "10 MLAs of Sikkim Democratic Front join BJP in the presence of Shri @rammadhavbjp at BJP HQ. #BJPMembership."
The MLAs joined the BJP just months after the party returned to power for the second consecutive term after winning the Lok Sabha polls.
Narendra Modi became the PM for a second consecutive term.
