Assam govt decides to fast track court to try cases involving doctor’s murder
Guwahati, Sept 4 (IBNS): The Assam government has decided for fast track court to try cases involving the killing of Dr. Deven Dutta at Teok Tea Garden in Upper Assam.
Moreover, the government has instituted an inquiry and asked commissioner and secretary finance Shyam Jagannathan to inquire into the killing of the doctor.
Moreover, Chief Minister Sonowal on Wednesday had a telephonic conversation with the widow of slain doctor.
Besides, expressing his empathy with bereaved family members, Sonowal condemned the killing and said that law will take its own course as strict action will be initiated against those who took law in their hands.
