PM Modi to visit Aurangabad tomorrow

Aurangabad: Prime Minister Modi will visit Aurangabad on Saturday for the inauguration ceremony of Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC) and address the Woman Self Help Group (SHG) rural police superintendent Moksha Patil said here.

Nearly 2,500 police force including top brass police officials have been deputed at AURIC of Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) at Shendra MIDC.

Since PM Modi along with other union ministers, state chief minister Devendra Fadanvis and VVIPs are coming for the ceremony, security is being deployed according to an ideal security standard, she added.

She further said that in view of more than one lakh women from across the state of SHG likely attending the programme along with the dignitaries were also considered in terms of security.

Precautionary measures are also being taken to control the crowd at the event and a QRT squad, special security guards and rapid action force squad have been appointed.

In addition, commandos as well as bomb detector destroyers and fire brigade have been arranged at the venue.

Meanwhile, the district administration has imposed Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as a security measure for the next two days from Friday, around the AURIC at Shendra MIDC area.

In terms of security. the use of drone camera, industrial or other flying balloons or other aviation devices are banned under Section 144 of CrPC, District Collector Uday Choudhary was quoted as saying, in an official statement here on last night.

It may noted that this is Modi's second visit to Aurangabad city after becoming Prime minister.

He paid his first visit here during the state assembly elections campaigning period in 2014 at Garware stadium in city.
