Buddhadeb Bhattacharya hospitalised with acute respiratory problem

Kolkata, Sep 06 (UNI): Former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya was admitted in a private hospital in South Kolkata on Friday with acute respiratory problem.

He was rushed to Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU) of the hospital as his blood pressure also nosedived.

His wife and daughter are in the hospital.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and State CPI(M) secretary Surjya Kanta Mishra also visited the hospital.

A few days back Governor Jagdeep Dhankar visited Bhattacharya at the latter's Palm Avenue residence.
