Sirsa, Sep 13 (UNI) Two youth died on the spot while a woman sustained serious injuries when their motorcycle collided with a truck near Sahuwala village on Sirsa-Dabwali highway on Friday morning.

Baragudda police station in-charge Kamlesh Kumari told media here that Titu Khera resident Buta Ram along with his mother Mukhtiar Kaur and another close relative Gurpreet Singh, was going to Punjab on his motorcycle to distribute his wedding cards.

When they reached near Sahuwala village, the truck driver suddenly applied the brakes of his vehicle. As a result, the motorcycle collided with the truck and both Buta Ram and Gurpreet Singh died on the spot due to excessive bleeding. However, Mukhtiar Kaur suffered serious injuries in the mishap.

The police officer informed that the bodies of youth have been sent to civil hospital Sirsa for post mortem. She said that the truck was impounded by the police and a case has been registered against the truck driver, who fled from the spot.
