Pune, Sep 13 (UNI) During next 24 hours, strong winds with speed reaching up to 40-50 kmph are likely over southwest and westcentral Arabian Sea whereas squally weather is likely along and on Gujarat coast.

Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Gujarat region,east and west Madhya Pradesh,east Rajasthan, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal,Sikkim, Assam,Meghalaya,Konkan and Goa,Uttarakhand, east Uttar Pradesh,Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Saurashtra and Kutch,madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu,Puducherry and Karaikal.

Southwest monsoon has been vigorous over east Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh whereas it's active over Assam,Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and coastal Karnataka.

Southwest monsoon has subdued over Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan,and north interior Karnataka.

Thunderstorm very likely at isolated places over Odisha and Jharkhand.
From 0830 hours Thursday to 0830 hours Friday,thunderstorm was observed at isolated places over Punjab, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal,Sikkim, coastal Karnataka, Kerala,Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry,Karaikal,Assam and Meghalaya.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam,Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan and Gangetic West Bengal,Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands ,Lakshadweep ,Odisha, east Rajasthan, Vidarbha, madhya Maharashtra, Telangana and south Interior Karnataka.
