New Delhi: Three days ahead of Narendra Modi's birthday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah urged people to celebrate the Prime Minister's birthday week as "Seva Saptah".

Shah said, "The BJP used to celebrate Narendra Modi's birthday week as Seva Saptah for last 5 years. Our Prime Minister has dedicated all his life in the work of the whole nation and poor people.

So we should celebrate his birthday week as Seva Saptah."

Modi will turn 69 on September 17.

According to some reports, Modi is likely to celebrate his 69th birthday in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi, which is his parliamentary constituency.
