Jammu, Sept 18 (UNI): After continuously shelling forward areas along the Line of Control, Pakistan on Wednesday violated the ceasefire on International Border by firing unprovoked in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources here said that Pakistani Rangers during week hours on Wednesday fired few rounds and violated the ceasefire.
"They targeted the forward posts in Samba sector," they said adding the BSF effectively retaliated to the firing.
Earlier on Tuesday, Pakistan Rangers violated the truce agreement by firing unprovoked in Samba.
No injury or major damage was reported so far.
