Nagpur: Pregnant woman, kid among 3 killed in wall collapse

Nagpur, Sep 20 (UNI) Three members of a family were reportedly killed while as many sustained injuries on Friday when the wall of a building collapsed in the Imambada vicinity of the Mehkar area in the Buldhana district.

According to police, the mishap took place in morning hours when the wall of an dilapidated building collapsed on a neighbouring house following overnight torrential rain.

The victims include a six-year-old boy and a pregnant woman, police said, adding that the injured have been identified as Asif Shaikh Ashraf Qureshi, Shaistaabi Sheikh Asif Qureshi and Faizan.

The injured are undergoing treatment in a nearby hospital.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
