Won't keep quiet until BJP-Shiv Sena alliance breaks: Sharad Pawar
Kolhapur, Oct 5 (UNI): Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar has said that it is his responsibility to take away power from wrong hands and he would not keep quiet until the present BJP-Shiv Sena alliance government breaks.
Addressing a huge public meeting in Radhanagari-Bhudargad assembly constituency at Mudhal of this district on Friday night, Pawar raised peoples' enthusiasm by saying "abhi to mai jawan hun" (still i am a young man) and appealed to the people to accompany him in this transformation struggle and expressed confidence that the foundation of transformation would lay in this "Shahu Nagari" (the city of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj).
Pawar said that he has won election of assembly, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha for fourteen times with seven times each of assembly and Lok Sabha, and became four times as chief minister and agriculture, food and defence minister in central government and he cleared that he would not contest now but our state was passing through by wrong way and he would not keep quiet until the present BJP lead government is kicked out from the power.
On the backdrop of severe flood situation in the state recently, Pawar said that the state government has totally failed to solve problems of flood affected people. It was necessary to hearten the flood affected people but political leaders including chief minister Devendra Fadnvis, were engaged in air survey of flood affected areas only.
He raised question that when about sixteen thousand farmers committed suicide in the state, how the present state government even slept. Congress lead goverment had waived Rs 70 thousand crores loans of state farmers but BJP goverment only waived the industrialists loans.
