Murshidabad: RSS worker, pregnant wife, 6-yr-old son 'killed'

Kolkata/Murshidabad:  A Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker, his pregnant wife, and their eight-year-old son were found dead in Murshidabad district of West Bengal, media report said on Thursday.

The bodies of Bondhu Gopal Pal, a 35-year-old primary school teacher, his wife Beauty, and son were found lying in a pool of blood inside their residence on Tuesday in Jiaganj area of the district, the police was quoted as saying by India Today.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan attacked West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and tweeted: " The deplorable & anarchic state of law &order in #WestBengal has again come to the surface with the gruesome murder of the Pal family in #Murshidabad. Eliminating political opponents by violence has been the oft taken route by @MamataOfficial to recover the lost ground in Bengal."

BJP leader Sambit Patra said, "Warning:Gruesome video This has shaken my conscience ...a RSS worker Sh Bandhu Prakash Pal,his eight months pregnant wife & his kid were brutally slaughtered in West Bengal’s Murshidabad Not a word by the liberals Not a letter by 59 liberals to Mamata Nauseating Selectivism!."

“Locals told us that Prakash Pal was last seen at 11 am on Tuesday, when he was returning from the local market. Within an hour, the three of the family were found dead,” an officer of Jiaganj municipality involved in the investigation told Hindustan Times.
