New Delhi/IBNS: Dushyant Chautala's father Ajay Chautala who was lodged in Tihar jail following his conviction in a teacher recruitment scam has been released on two-week parole this morning ahead of the oath-taking ceremony of his son as the Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana today.

The ceremony will take place at the Raj Bhawan at around 2.15 pm, in which  Dushyant Chautala will take the oath as the Deputy Chief Minister in the Haryana government led by ML Khattar.

BJP, which won 40 seats in the just-concluded Haryana Assembly elections, six short of the majority, entered into an alliance with Dushyant Chautala's Jannayak Janta Party(JJP) which grabbed 10 seats to form the next state government.

The post-poll alliance was formalised in a quick meeting between Dushyant Chautala and BJP National President Amit Shah.

Seven independents have also declared their support for a BJP-led government in Haryana, helping BJP to reach a tally of 57 in the 90-member Assembly.

Backed by the numbers, BJPand its allied had placed the claim to form the next government in the state at a meeting on Saturday with Haryana Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya.
