Gorakhpur, Oct 27 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday claimed that the real Ram Rajya was returning in the state and the Vantangiya community were now celebrating Diwali in real terms.

"Till two years ago Vantangia villages did not even have basic facilities, but they have all facilities like housing, toilets, roads, schools etc," he said while inaugurating and laying foundation stones of projects worth Rs 1.32 crore for Vantangiya community.

Yogi Adityanath gave housing certificate to the villagers. Took stock of development works of the village.

The CM also participated in a Grih-Pravesh pooja of a Vantangia family who got the house constructed under Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana.

He wished a bright future while distributing sweets among the children of the village.

The CM accused the opposition of playing divisive politics and said previous governments never took care of these families. These families got their right only after the formation of BJP government in 2017.

Adityanath said that Lord Ram's exile had ended in 14 years but the exile of the Vantangis did not end even after more than 100 years, the exile of these people ended in 2017 when the BJP government was formed in the state.

CM Yogi further said that only after declaring 38 Vantangi villages as revenue villages, basic facilities such as housing, toilets, schools, pure drinking water, pucca roads, health centers, pension etc could be provided.

He stated that he was working towards bringing Ram Rajya in the state.

Yogi further stated that a grand festival was concluded in Ayodhya yesterday.

Festivals symbolises nationalism with collectivism, but for previous governments, festivals became a medium of mourning. During previous governments, Forest Department and Police Department have exploited the forest dwellers. But in our government they are given their due rights and respect, he claimed.

Explaining the benefits of Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana, Mr Adityanath said it would help empowering daughters and the government would provide Rs 15,000 for the girl child.

The CM praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that for the first time in the country, the centre was giving basic amenities to the poor. Under his leadership, the country was making steady progress and the poor were getting their rights.

Earlier, Adityanath raised the issues of Vantangis in the Parliament. He established a school from his personal resources in Vantangia Basti Tinconia.

The projects inaugurated and foundation stone laid includes inauguration of 4.75 meter Kharanza road from Gorakhpur Cantonment to railway line Rajahi, inauguration of construction work of Anganwadi Kendra building in Vantangia village Chilbilwa, teen shed construction work for primary school in Ambagh and Jungle Tinconia No-3 and foundation stone of 600 meter road at Tinconia No-2.
