New Delhi, Oct 27 (UNI) Former MP Ajay Chautala who was in Tihar jail got released on Sunday morning on furlough and attended the swearing in ceremony of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana , his son Dushyant Chautala.

JJP's Dushyant Chautala's father Ajay Chautala was granted with the furlough for two weeks on Saturday.

The development comes close on heels of the government formation in Haryana following the alliance between JJP and BJP in the state.

Prior to his expulsion from the party, Ajay, who was serving a 10-year sentence in a corruption case at present, was a member of the INLD.

The BJP, that bagged 40 seats in Haryana Assembly polls entered a deal with Dushyant Chautala led Jannayak Janta Party and other independent candidates.
Amid negotiations the decision was formalised in a meeting between the JJP and BJP president Amit Shah on Friday night.
