Himachal Pradesh: 3 killed as Bolero camper plunges 300m down into gorge
Shimla, Oct 29 (UNI) Three people died and one injured when a Bolero camper in which they were traveling rolled down into the gorge at Ghanvi Kanchi in Shimla district on Tuesday morning, police sources said.
Om Pati Jamwal, Shimla Superintendent of Police, said that police and ITBP teams rushed to the spot for rescue as vehicle rolled down 300 meter into the gorge near Tehsil Rampur.
Two people were killed on the spot, while one succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Nishant (20) resident of village Ghanvi, while Bhudhva (58) and Sunil (32) hails from Jharkhand.
Police have registered a case of rash driving and negligence.
