Haryana CM Manohar Lal meets Indian PM Narendra Modi

New Delhi/IBNS: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who recently guided his BJP to a victory in the Assembly polls, arrived in New Delhi to meet Indian PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday.

Khattar was sworn in on October 27 as the chief minister of Haryana for the second consecutive term with Jannayak Janta Party (JJP)'s Dushyant Chautala, great grandson of former deputy prime minister late Devi Lal, as his deputy.

The Chief Minister had called on President Ram Nath Kovind , Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday.

Khattar and Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala had held the first meeting of the state cabinet at Haryana Bhawan here on Tuesday and said a special session of the state assembly will get underway from November 4.
