Sikh leader Gurucharan Singh Billa shot from close range by miscreants in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur/UNI: Unidentified miscreants shot a local Sikh leader under Sitaramdera Police Station area of the East Singhbhum district.

The victim Gurucharan Singh Billa was attacked when he alongwith his wife was going to a near by Gurudwara this morning. The miscreants fired three bullets on the man out of which two hit him on his hand and back.


The locals immediately reached on the spot and sent him to TMH where his condition was stated to be out of danger. Upon receiving information
Jamshedpur City SP Subhash Chandra Jat reached the hospital and inquired into the incident. Police was going through CCTV footage to look for clues for the attackers.


Gurucharan Singh Billa has been an accused in the murder of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh. Few years ago he was acquitted in the case.
