Assam indigenous Muslims will donate Rs 5 lakh for construction of Ram temple

Guwahati/IBNS: The indigenous Muslims of Assam have not only welcomed and described the verdict on Ayodhya as historic but also decided to donate Rs 5 lakh to the trust that will oversee the construction of Ram temple.

The coordination committee of 21 Muslim organizations in Assam has announced to donate Rs 5 lakh to the trust of Ram temple.

Sayed Muminul Aowal, chairman of the coordination committee named Jonogusthiya Somonnoy Parishad Asom (JSPA) said that – “We have welcomed the Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya. The 21 organizations representing the indigenous Muslims of Assam have welcomed this verdict.”

“We will donate Rs 5 lakh to the trust, which will be formed for construction of Ram temple. The historic verdict has finally removed all barriers. We welcomed it,” Sayed Muminul Aowal said.
