Sonia Gandhi leads opposition parties in boycotting 70th Constitution Day celebrations
New Delhi/UNI: Main Opposition parties, including Congress, on Tuesday boycotted the 70th Constitution Day celebration in the Central hall of Parliament.
Led by Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Opposition parties stood in protest against the event to mark their protest near the statue of Father of the Constitution Bhimrao Ambedkar in the Parliament premises.

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, Anand Sharma and MPs of TMC, among others stood united in protest near Dr Ambedkar's statue with a banner that read 'Stop Murder of democracy.'
India is observing Constituion Day on Tuesday.
