JMM and allies want to capture power to loot state: Jharkhand CM
Dhanbad/UNI: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Friday said that JMM and its allies are only misleading the people of the state as they just want to acquire power to loot Jharkhand.
Addressing a couple of election meetings in Sindri and Deoghar, he said that the people should ask the leaders of the JMM and the Congress what they have done to protect the tribal culture and to enrich it.
Das said that these parties only talk about Jal Jungle and Zameen and loot the state and also create obstacles in the development process.
The chief minister said the double engine government has added pace to development of Sindri and claimed that neither the Congress nor the JMM worried about the closed fertiliser factory in Sindri but it was BJP which understood the requirements of the area and once again opened the plant.
He alleged that these parties will promise development of the state and after coming to power will work for the development of Gandhi and Soren family.
The chief minister claimed that JMM was the biggest hurdle in the development of the state and said that it is the same party which implemented C-SAT in JPSC and played with the future of the youth and prevented development reaching to the tribals but on the other hand in many cities, the Soren family purchases lands worth crores at throwaway prices.
In Deoghar, he said, soon AIIMS and the new airport will commence operations which will provide world-class medical and travelling facilities to the people.
The chief minister said that these works were only possible as both in the centre and state BJP was in power.
He claimed that BJP and Congress had applied brakes on the development of Santhal Pargana.
Das said that JMM, Congress and RJD are once again planning to the loot the state and therefore the people needed to teach a lesson to them.
In Nirsa, he promised that the area will be made a separate block and priority will be accorded to the development of the area.
He said currently water supply schemes worth Rs 400 crore was on in the area and asked the people to remove the red flag and vote for BJP.
