Mumbai/IBNS: Shiv Sena scion Aaditya Thackeray, son of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, will take oath as a minister in Maharashtra today, media reports said.

According to an NDTV report, he will take oath today.

The 29-year-old made a debut in electoral politics this year and won the Worli assembly seat comfortably.

The much-awaited expansion of the Maharashtra council of ministers of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government led by Uddhav Thackeray will take place today.

As many as 36 ministers could take oath on the day.

Currently, the Uddhav Thackeray-led cabinet has six ministers besides chief minister Thackeray.

The swearing-in will take place at the Vidhan Bhavan (state legislature complex) here.
