Labourer electrocuted at Vasai railway station

Palghar/UNI: A contract labourer working at the Vasai railway station was electrocuted yesterday after felling on the high tension wires, the Railway police said on Wednesday.

Police said that the deceased, Mathura Gupta (28), a welder was carrying out certain welding work on a FOB on an aluminium ladder, which was slipped and fell on the high tension wire, killing on the spot.

"A case was registered and further investigation was on," they added.
