Two Maoists arrested in Kukadu Haat incident

Saraikela-Kharsawan/UNI: Police has arrested two more ultras who were involved in killing of five policemen in Kukadu Haat located under Tiruldih Police Station area of this district on June 14, 2019.

Addressing a press conference here, Saraikela SP Kartik S said so far in the case 11 maoists have been arrested.

He said, he had received a secret information that hardcore ultras who are part of maoist squad led by Ramesh alias Anal Da and Maharaj Pramanik have been spotted between Ichagarh and Chouka Police Station areas after which a police team conducted raids and arrested the two ultras identified as Soyna Singh Sardar and Mangal Topno alias Lalu.


The SP said, both the maoists were involved in the plan of killing the policemen and are close confidants of Maharaj Pramanik. Apart from that they were also involved in incidents which had taken place at Hudgada and Raisindri in which maoists had executed IED blast and opened fire on the policemen.


The SP said, both the ultras have been arrested from Palna Dam of Chouka Police Station area.
