BJP leader Dilip Ghosh says JNU incident a got up case, only investigation will reveal

Kolkata/UNI: BJP's West Bengal unit president Dilip Ghosh day claimed that the JNU's violent incident was a got up case or stage show and said the investigation would prove if colour or blood was poured on the face of the girl as the Communists and oppositions were making it a country-wide issue.

Addressing a media conference here, Ghosh said the police began an investigation in the right direction in the violent incident and an FIR was also filed in the case.

He asked how the attackers with face covered entered into the JNU campus and began to beat students, particularly picking up ABVP from the hostel.

Ghosh claimed that the oppositions were fuelling the movement and the attack in the JNU was their handiwork.

He asked how the attackers came inside the campus with faces covered and where they have gone after beating the students.

May be they ( attackers) uncovered their face and mixed up with students after beating students or may be those orchestrated the attack may have been given shelter," Ghosh said adding the investigation would unfold details.

Ghosh claimed the Communists and the oppositions after being isolated were making issues like JNU incident.

Some 30 people, including JNU Students' Union president Aishe Ghosh, were injured as chaos reigned on the campus for nearly two hours.

The Left-controlled JNUSU and the RSS-affiliated ABVP have blamed each other for the violence.
