Amit Shah attacks Opposition for demanding protection for youths who raised anti-national slogans in JNU
Jabalpur/IBNS: BJP chief Amit Shah has slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal for demanding protection for the youths who raised anti-national slogans in Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Addressing a pro-CAA public rally here in Madhya Pradesh, Shah launched a blistering attack on Kejriwal and Gandhi.
" Some boys had raised anti-national slogans in JNU. They chanted slogans like 'Bharat tere tukde honge ek hazar, inshallah, inshallah'. Should they not be sent to jails?" Shah asked the gathering.
Amid cheers endorsing his statement, the BJP leader said, "Kejriwal and Rahul Baba(Gandhi) are saying 'protect them, protect them' Are they your cousin brothers?"
The Home Minister said that the government "will not rest" until every oppressed Pakistani refugee is given Indian citizenship.
He dared the Congress to oppose CAA to the extent they could, but the government will not rest till every refugee persecuted on religious grounds in Pakistan was given citizenship in India.
"The Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist and Christian refugees from Pakistan have the same rights in India as we have," he said.
He challenged Rahul Gandhi and West Bengal Chief Minister to show a line in the new Citizenship law that provided for cancellation of citizenship of any Indian
The BJP chief also told the gathering that the Ram Temple would be built in Ayodhya in the next four months.
