New Delhi/UNI: Two unidentified men allegedly fired outside Gate No 5 of Jamia Milia Islamia university late on Sunday.

No injury has been reported.

Students, in large numbers, have gathered outside the varsity and are raising slogans against the Delhi Police.

The police said that a Station House Officer is present on the spot and are currently probing the incident.

According to Jamia Coordination Committee, out of the two miscreants, one was wearing Red Jacket and driving a Red Scooty with registration number 1532.
This is the third firing incident in just five days.

On Saturday, a man openly fired in the Shaheen Bagh area and was subsequently apprehended by the police.

Shaheen Bagh has been a focal point of Citizenship (Amendment)Act protests that triggered across the country. People from all walks of life, especially from the minority community, are staging protest there since the government enacted the law that grants citizenship to non-Muslims persecuted in neighbouring Islamic countries.
