Jammu Court denies bail of alleged JeM terrorist

Jammu/UNI: A Jammu Court on Saturday rejected the bail of an alleged militant of Jaish-e-Mohammad.

According to the Court sources, Special Judge Jammu Subash C Gupta has rejected the bail application of one Bashir Ahmed Lone, resident of Aglar Kandi, tehsil Rajpura, District Pulwama, alleged JeM Militant, who was arrested by Lakanpur Police Station.

As per police report, on a tip off, on September 12, 2019, a truck was intercepted by a naka checking police party, at Lakhanpur.

On questioning, the passengers disclosed their names as Shabeel Ahmed Baba, Obaid -Ul-Aslam Jahangir Ahmed Parray and Bashir Ahmed Lone.

On the search of the vehicle, a bag was found containing four numbers of AK 56 Rifles and two numbers of AK-47 rifles , six numbers loaded magazines, each containing 30 live cartridges.

They were arrested on spot and the recovered arms and ammunition were also seized on spot.

In the course of investigation, a mobile phone was also recovered.

The investigation was yet in progress, the report added.

With these observations Court rejected bail application, the sources said.
