BJP MP Amit Shah to address rally in Bhubaneswar on Feb 28 in support of CAA

Bhubaneswar/UNI: Union Home Affairs minister Amit Shah will address a massive rally in the state capital here on February 28 in support of the Citizen Amendment Act (CAA).

BJP Odisha unit President Sameer Mohanty said Shah will arrive here on a two days visit to the state and will address a massive rally in support of the CAA on February 28

The Union Minister will stay the night in Bhubaneswar and leave for Puri next day morning to have darshan of Lord Jagannath .

He will also visit the Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar on his return from Puri and will leave for Delhi on February 29.

Mohanty said after the Citizen Amendment Bill passed in the Parliament, the BJP has launched a public awareness campaign across the country from January 5 to apprise the people.

In Odisha Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Babul Suprio and Giriraj Singh already have addressed the rallies in support of the CAA. BJP parliament member Rupa Ganguly had also addressed a rally in Jaypore in support of the CAA.

Mr.Mohanty said the party leaders and workers have been organizing mass awareness campaign on the CAA by holding public meeting,workshops and padayatra across the state.

Party supporters form the 37,000 polling booths in the state have thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the CAA through post cards, he said.
