Donald Trump spectacle: Narendra Modi arrives in Ahmedabad
New Delhi/IBNS: Indian PM Narendra Modi arrived in Ahmedabad on Monday where he will welcome US President Donald Trump shortly.
Trump will arrive in India for his two-day visit to the south Asian nation.
Trump and Modi will participate in several events in the city.

Showing his excitement over India visit, US President Donald Trump on Monday tweeted in Hindi and informed people in the south Asian nation that he will arrive in a few hours.
Trump is currently on his way to India.
In his Hindi tweet, Trump said: "हम à¤à¤¾à¤°à¤¤ आने के लिठततà¥à¤ªà¤° हैं । हम रासà¥à¤¤à¥‡ में हैà¤, कà¥à¤› ही घंटों में हम सबसे मिलेंगे! (I am eager to visit India. I am on my way and I will meet you all in a few hours)."

This is the first visit by Trump to India since becoming the US president.
During the visit, President Trump and the First Lady will attend official engagements in New Delhi and Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and interact with a wide cross-section of Indian society.
The global strategic partnership between India and the U.S. is based on trust, shared values, mutual respect and understanding, and marked by warmth and friendship between the peoples of the two countries, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.
The relationship has further evolved under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and President Trump, with significant progress in all areas including trade, defence, counter-terrorism, energy, coordination on regional and global issues as well as people-to-people ties. The visit will provide an opportunity for the two leaders to review progress in bilateral ties and further strengthen our strategic partnership.
