Modi took to Twitter to wish the nation.
"Wish you all on the festival of colours and happiness-Holi. I hope the festival brings happiness in the lives of our countrymen," he tweeted.

Holi is being celebrated across the nation on Tuesday.
Modi last week tweeted to inform that he will not participate in any Holi events amidst coronavirus scare in India.
Modi tweeted, "Experts across the world have advised to reduce mass gatherings to avoid the spread of COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus. Hence, this year I have decided not to participate in any Holi Milan programme."
