Truck carrying migrant labourers hits vehicle in UP's Auraiya, 24 dead
Auraiya/IBNS: A truck, which was carrying migrant labourers, collided with another vehicle in Uttar Pradesh's Auraiya district, leaving 24 people dead, media reports said on Saturday.
The truck was reportedly carrying 50 migrant labourers.
The injured people were rushed to hospital for treatment.
Thousands of migrant labourers have been walking home from big cities across India after they were laid off due to COVID-19 lockdown.
The third phase of the lockdown will end on May 17.
