Sensex, Nifty touch record high

Mumbai, Nov 28 (IBNS): The BSE Sensex and Nifty climbed record highs on Friday tracking the sharp fall in Brent crude price, media reports said.

The Sensex rose to over 300 points in morning trade while the 50-share Nifty gained around 100 points.

The Sensex hit a record high of 28,766 while the Nifty touched its all-time high of 8,591.

Brent crude fell towards $72 a barrel on Friday in its steepest monthly fall since November 2008, sources said.
