UP Crime: Girl attacks septuagenarian with chili powder to resist molestation bid

Pratapgarh/UNI:  A girl attacked a 70-year old lecherous man with chili powder to resist his molestation bid in Pure Banshi village of the Lalganj Kotwali area of this Uttar Pradesh district, police said on Monday.

The septuagenarian used to call the girl while she grazed her cattle, to his pump shed on one pretext or another and indulge in indecent acts.

Unable to bear it any further, the girl attacked the old man while he was trying to repeat the crime and filmed the entire incident along with her friend.

After returning home, she showed the video to her family members.

Additional Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar here said that the girl later reached the Lalganj Kotwali along with her father and complained of eve-teasing and handed over the video to them.

On the basis of a written complaint by the victim's father, a case has been registered and the man arrested.
