Kohima/IBNS: The MLAs of the Naga Peoples' Front (NPF) on Tuesday have withdrawn its membership from the Joint Legislators Forum (JLF) on Naga political issue.

According to the reports, the NPF legislators have taken the decision during the NPF Legislature Party meeting held at opposition leader TR Zeliang's residence at Dimapur.

An NPF leader said that the party has taken the decision for withdrawal from JLF membership with immediate effect.

"On Naga political issue, JLF is facing trust deficit," the NPF leader said.

The NPF legislators will continue to be active facilitators on the Naga political issue.
