Normalcy returns in Bengaluru post unlock, metro services to resume soon: Karnataka CM Yediyurappa
Bengaluru/UNI: Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa on Thursday said that the normalcy is slowly returning to normalcy after the Unlock and the metro services will be resumed soon.
Speaking to the media after garlanding the Sangoli Rayana statue and inaugurated flyover, organised by BBMP, he said after the prolonged lockout, now the situation improved in the state which returning normalcy in a phased manner with economic activity improved.
Stating that the government committed overall development of Bengaluru as well as the entire state which would be seen in the coming days, he said.
Priority will be given to basic facilities and necessary steps will be taken to avoid traffic congestion, he said.
Due to the lockdown of COVID-19, the metro services in Bengaluru city was stopped and it will be resumed very soon, he assured.
He also said that after unlock process was removing on the phased manner, already the KSRTC services resumed and even the interstate bus services will also be on the card besides the degree colleges academic will commence from October month, he added
On the agitation of the Rayana issue, he said he had already talked to the mutt heads and others which will be resolved.
