Sushant death case: Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik taken for questioning by Narcotics Control Bureau

Mumbai/IBNS: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday took actress Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik for questioning in connection with the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, media reports said.

Earlier in the day, the NCB had conducted a raid in the residence of Sushant's girlfriend Rhea.

The NCB has drawn links between Rhea Chakraborty's brother, Showik, and alleged drug dealer Zaid Vilatra, who has been arrested, reports NDTV.

Another NCB team carried out a search in the residence of Sushant's aide Samuel Miranda on Friday morning.

Samuel has also been taken for questioning.

Sushant, who is widely known for portraying former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni onscreen, was found dead at his flat in Mumbai's Bandra.

Though the Mumbai Police were probing into the death case, Sushant's father KK Singh had filed a First Information Report (FIR) with the Bihar Police alleging that Rhea had siphoned Rs. 15 crore from the actor.

As now the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is probing into Sushant's death case, a WhatsApp conversation, where the late actor's girlfriend was allegedly seen talking about drugs, has surfaced.

The federal probe agency is investigating the drugs angle of the Sushant death case.
