Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actresses Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and designer Simone Khambatta have come under the scanner of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) following the arrest of Rhea Chakraborty in connection with the drug charges related to the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput, Times Now reported.

As per the report, Chakraborty, who has allegedly consumed drugs along with her late boyfriend Rajput, has named the three individuals during an interrogation conducted by the NCB.

The report further said at least 25 Bollywood A-listers are under the scanner of NCB.

Chakraborty and her brother Showik, who were arrested over drug charges, were denied bail by the Mumbai Sessions Court on Friday.

Chakraborty was on Tuesday arrested in Mumbai by the NCB after three days of questioning by the agency in connection with the drug-related allegation surrounding the death of Rajput.

The actress has been charged with organizing drugs for the late Bollywood star who was reportedly under mental depression.

Though NCB sources told the media that Chakraborty had accepted that she had consumed drugs, the actress had earlier in a television interview denied such an act in her life.

The NCB got into action after the ED came across WhatsApp chats pertaining to drug consumption, procurement, usage and transportation in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

Rajput was found dead at his own flat in Mumbai's Bandra on Jun 14.

Kangana Ranaut faces drug probe

Actress Kangana Ranaut will now face a drug probe ordered by the Maharashtra government amid the ongoing tussle between her and the ruling Shiv Sena.

The investigation by the Mumbai Police started two days after her Pali Hill office was partly demolished by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) over alleged illegal alterations.

The Mumbai Police launched a probe after it received the state Home Department's letter ordering an investigation into Ranaut's drug links based on an old interview of actor Adhyayan Suman.

Earlier, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said that he had directed the Mumbai Police to investigate reports of alleged drug consumption by the ''Queen" actress.

Ranaut had in response said that she will fully cooperate with the police and asked them to take her blood samples for a dope test.

In an interview in 2016, Adhyayan Suman, who reportedly dated Kangana once, had alleged that she asked him to use drugs at a party in 2008.
