Mumbai/IBNS: The Bombay High Court on Thursday adjourned the bail plea of actor Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty, who have been arrested in connection with the drug angle related to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, till Sept 29, media reports said.

The judicial custody of Rhea Chakraborty and Showik were earlier extended by a Mumbai court till Oct 6.

The NCB has so far arrested at least a dozen people including Rajput's household staff Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant.

NCB is the third central agency to join the probe into the death of Rajput, after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

The NCB got into action after the ED came across chats pertaining to drug consumption, procurement, usage and transportation in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

Rajput was found dead at his own flat in Mumbai's Bandra on Jun 14.
